I have a Friendster, a Yuwie and a Multiply account, enough is enough. Why is most likely won’t join Facebook is because the internet is full ’social portals’ and most all of them are heavily driven by advertisments. To me, Friendster is the best one for me coz it’s providing all the features I need and all of my friends are there. One friend of mine once said “Friendster is like a SHRINE nowadays to lotsa internet users looking for friends, connecting business partners as well as finding new friends” and many companies are capitalizing on this practice. Yuwie for one, is actually PAYING you to blog, upload pictures and VIEWING members’ profile, which I find is an interesting concept becoz not only they’re heaviliy capitalizing on the social needs of people but also splitting the cake from the advertisement revenue they got from page views.

Everything else aside, I dun think that I have THAT much time to play around with so many social sites. After all, it’s MY personal information and data I am putting up there.

I just applied for Google Adsense and on the way finalising the final phase of my website. I hope I can beat Google to it! I spent the past month or so gathering information and photos to upload. Not a really painful task really but putting everything together was taxing. Back then I was still doing 9 - 5 so didn’t have much time for my own stuff, so here goes: I am out on my own and everyday is a working day again, but work is fun … for once!

I just joined Yuwie couple of days back and having fun ever since. They pay people for creating network of friends and contacts, just like Friendster or Multiply, the only difference is you get paid. I’ve been chalking up hundreds of page views everymonth at my own Friendster page as well as Multiply, so no harm done starting another page at Yuwie.

Being a photographer, I love making friends with models, event managers, model agents as well as more photographers. I am also a motorsports fan so it’s fun to get to know people from those circles. It’s good for maintaining friendship as well as business contact.
